I am concerned with economic development and the structural problems of Third World countries. My research is applied macroeconomics, and my current work involve:

        Traffic accidents
 
All my research has a solid applied econometric background, making use advanced econometrics techniques in spatial econometrics, cointegration in Panel, dynamic panel regressions, nonlinear estimators, etc. I am very confident about my competence in quantitative methods, and strong programming skills in:  Stata, Gauss and E-views. Also, I am proficent in the use of spatial software such as GeoDa and ArcViews and the manipulation of large datasets with Stata.
